What exactly is wrong with sexual objectifiation from a left/libertarian perspective?

So, I couldn't help but notice that when the protesters were protesting outside of the Rammstein concerts in Berlin in recent days, that their big push now seems to be focused on sexual objectification.

I mean, this controversy has shifted the goalposts so much. First it was accusations of drugging and rape, and now with those not panning out the moral outrage people of the far left have shifted to "power imbalances" and now we're just getting vague arguments about the patriarchy and....sexual objectification? And honestly? Im to the point I'm like "who cares?"

Really, if Till Lindemann RAPED someone, that would be one thing. But this is getting so pathetic. Really? Sexual objectification?

And I'm just going to put my line in the sand here on these issues.

Men objectifying women is normal, it's natural, and there's nothing wrong with it. Men wanna have sex, they're hardwired to have sex, and they objectify women sometimes. If you can't accept that, then you're a weirdo moral puritan trying to impose some weird moral code on people.

And women do the same thing. Heck, i KNOW women in the Rammstein fandom and uh...yeah. They objectify the band to an INSANE degree.

So...men wanna have sex with women, women wanna have sex with men, and that's okay. And as long as everything is consensual, that's okay.

I admit maybe objectification isnt always consensual, but if they keep it to themselves and don't harass those they objectify then...who cares? Nothing wrong with admiring the opposite sex from afar. Your fantasies are your fantasies and there's nothing wrong with having them. Just try to respect the other person's consent in terms of actual interactions.

But these weirdo radfems just seem to wanna live in a world where it's like they want us to live like puritans. it's creepy. It reminds me of dealing with the fundmentalist christian or islamic right. Ya know the people so obsessed with sex and people not having it that they impose draconian rules on people and act like the mere act of lusting for another is some sort of grave sin. It's not, really. It's a natural aspect of human nature.

Again, the longer these protests go on the less respect I have for the side protesting. Because it seems more like the accusations of legitimate moral crimes have fallen through and now it's just being outraged for the sake of it. It's pathetic really. It's one thing to "metoo" a guy because he might be a serial rapist. It's another to hate on him for being a horny dude who likes having lots of consensual sex with women and to write songs about that stuff. One is calling someone out for an actual crime against others, and the other is simply imposing your morality.

And quite frankly, I have no respect for anyone who wants to be the morality police. I left the right for a reason. I didn't come to the "left" for the left to pull the same crap. So yeah, screw off, guys, get a life already. Find a hobby that doesn't involve you telling others how to live when they aren't harming anyone.
