So....in typical leftist fashion, leftists kinda go to the other extreme. I just criticized my representative for censuring Al Green for his COMPLETELY HARMLESS display of defiance against Trump, and now I wanna criticize the other side. I'm seeing a lot of disturbing images in my social media feed of people doing things like setting Tesla dealerships and charging stations on fire, and sending seemingly threatening messages to tesla owners to sell their cars "before its too late."
This is ridiculous. Look, Elon is a nazi, he's a piece of crap human being. But can we NOT do violent crap against people who happen to own a "swasticar?" Seriously. Like, this self righteous mentality of "hurr durr if you have his car, you're a fascist enabler" crap needs to stop. People shouldnt be bullied into selling their vehicle because it just so happens that the owner of the company who made it was a fricking nutcase. You wanna know who else was a racist, nazi piece of crap? Henry ford. I dont recall people doing this crap against ford owners back in the day.
Like....again, resist the trump administration, but do it peacefully. Don't start engaging in literal fricking terrorism. Like, wtf, people. And dont drag harmless bystanders into your BS either. Really, this is ridiculous. Al Green, good. Terrorism, bad. Democratic equivalent of Mitch McConnell good. Vigilantism bad. Get it? We need more bernies, more AOCs, more al greens.
