So Bernie, the great Bern...he reacted to Trump's speech too. And this is the response we really deserved. it was relatively concise. Like dont get me wrong i loved AOC's policy discussion, but that was LONG. Most americans are gonna want something short and sweet, and bernie covered most of the same territory relatively quickly. He discussed how trump lied about everything, he went into his BS policies like no tax on tips, and cutting social security and medicaid. And then he went into his normal stump speech, ya know, kinda like i did with my response last night. And he's right. We need a working class agenda that actually solves the problems that drove people to vote for trump in the first place.
Bernie is a treasure. I wish he was like 20 years younger. I'd love to vote for him for president again. I think we made a huge mistake not going with him in 2016, and he's the true moral leader of the democratic party. Even well into his 80s, he's got it. I will never forgive the democrats for screwing him to push milquetoast centrists on us. He should have been our leader all along, and as i see it, that was the only way to avoid the cursed timeline we're in now. We messed up BAD. I would be all bernie 2028, but again, he's gonna be 87. We need someone younger. Still, he's the best we got...
