This is a weird question. Because I honestly don't think it does much either way. I kinda trend toward neither good nor bad. However, the question is also trying to gauge support for same sex marriage. However, my stance is if same sex marriage doesnt hurt anyone, it should be legal. And it doesnt, so I'm pro legalization.
Now, from that perspective, is society made better in the sense that we made people freer? Yeah. But am I one of those SJWs who seems to get really hug boxy over the subject? I find this question interesting because it doubles these two up. As we know, capitalism has an underlying belief superstructure grounded in christianity, and I fundamentally oppose christianity. However, despite my criticism of capitalism, I still support it in my own way. I quite frankly think moving fully away from capitalism is a scary proposition, and likely not going to improve things. Id rather have a more humanist iteration of capitalism and heavily reform the system within a more liberal/progressive tradition. So yeah, I'm pro capitalist but anti christian in this sense.

My view is debatable and likely to change over time, but given how following our international interests seems to be....doing whatever the fudge Trump is doing, yeah, I do believe in internationalism. Hell, my strategy for countering China long term is leaning into our post WWII international relationships. Burning those bridges makes us weaker. This is also why I chose the pro refugee option in question 2.

This is another question where Im prone to possibly shifting over time, but in the trump era, definitely #1.
