Remember, if you're pissed off about a lack of disaster aid, blame the GOP

 So, a common criticism I hear from independent voters who dont really put much time in thinking about things is how come we spend all of this money on Ukraine and Israel, but we won't even help our own people here at home with these disasters?

Long story short? BLAME THE REPUBLICANS! They're the ones voting against FEMA funding! They're the ones who want to defund the national weather service! Ya know, the ones predicting hurricanes and giving us free forecasts about them! They're the ones preemptively refusing aid with now category 5 hurricane Milton heading toward Florida! Ron DeSantis won't even talk to Kamala Harris on the subject! Imagine letting your state suffer just to own the libs!

Seriously, there's a reason I consider the modern GOP actually evil and devoid of any actual goodness. And it's because it's like they WANT people to suffer. And then they wanna turn around, and make you blame the dems for your suffering, asking why they don't do more to solve it.

I admit, the dems aren't perfect. I've criticized them before. I've refused to vote for them before (this time i went straight ticket dem though). They dont do enough sometimes. But...the GOP actively wants to make your life worse and then blame the dems so you vote against them. 

But yeah. If you're suffering down south from hurricanes, don't blame us. We want to help you. The conservatives, many of whom you guys keep electing, don't want to help you. They are actively against nice things. And it's like, they want you to suffer so that you then take your anger out on us, the "good guys" (I admit, good is relative in this instance). Okay? Don't fall for their trap. 

Same with the idiots in Texas who hate the federal government so much they let their third rate power grid fail because they refuse to hook it up to the federal grid because then they'd be subject to federal regulation. 

Seriously. Life can be better. The GOP doesn't want it to be better. They want you to suffer for purely abstract ideological reasons that have no actual connection with reality. Throw them out of power so you can be helped. Then feel free to complain like the rest of us about the dems not doing enough themselves. But at least stop the people who actively campaign against nice things.
